A great way to celebrate Christmas this year.  Give a CHRISTMAS GIFT with real meaning through Oxfam Unwrapped this year and show how much you really care.

If you’re sick and tired of the mass commercialism side of Christmas and want to get back to the true spirit of giving then you’ll love giving a gift from Oxfam Unwrapped.

At Oxfam Unwrapped, they believe giving for the good of others never goes out of fashion – they’ve been giving people the gift of hope since 1953! They’ve created another range of gifts that lets you give something truly unique to your friends and family and most importantly, something to those less fortunate around the world.

You can give gifts such as the highly popular Goat for only $39 AU.

Goat

Goats can be sold to raise funds for school fees or tools and when the goats have kids of their own, they are given to another family and the process starts all over again.

When you buy a gift from the catalogue, your donation helps support their programs that the gift represents. In return, you’ll get to give a card to the recipient explaining how their special gift is helping others. So not only will your gift giving abilities look good, everyone will feel great too.

This year I have gifted Breakfasts for Indigenous Children at Doomadgee State School.

Breakfast for an Indigenous child

Doomadgee is a remote Aboriginal community of around 1,000 people, near the north-west Queensland and Northern Territory border.  They run a healthy breakfast program for local Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children. My gift is helping to provide five children with fresh fruit, bread, milk, juice and muesli for a month worth of breakfasts.

I also gifted the Indigenous Granny Group

Indigenous Granny Group

The Indigenous Grandmothers’ Group brings together Indigenous female elders. Through the group, these elders are able to pass on their cultural history and provide advice to young Indigenous people. So, help those in the know and support them as they create positive change.

Your gifts are presented in beautiful cards with information on your chosen gift, and can be printed with a personalized message if you so choose.

And if you are running late or wish to be environmentally friendly and save on paper they can be sent as an email card to your recipients.

They’re are a great idea for business’ and as gifts to clients that are original and thoughtful.

So show your sincerity this Christmas and help others in more ways than you dreamed possible this festive season.
