NEEDING HELP Quitting Smoking?

Stop Smoking

Have you been finding it hard to Stop Smoking and are looking for help to Quit Smoking because cigarettes are making you sick? Hypnosis, Nicotine Gum, Nicotine Patches & Awful Drugs Not Your Thing?

I gave up smoking cigarettes on the 6th October 2009, after smoking for over 25 years.  With no cravings what so ever, just an exceptionally outstanding overall feeling of well being, mental clarity & Happiness.

The only time asides from now that I had no withdrawals at all was last year, April 2008 when I quit smoking during a ‘Life Mastery” retreat in Fiji .  I had colonic irrigation’s everyday and daily massages all supported with super food drinks, good oils, mental work, and consistent focus. It was easy once I’d decided to stop, as I was supporting myself by optimizing my state of health and I had the support of new friends to keep me focused. After my return home from Fiji I fell off the ‘wagon’ after 3 months, when one evening I went to the Pub with a friend and after a couple of drinks I thought “…to heck with it, I can have a smoke tonight, its my life, and you only live once.  What’s the big deal?” Well the big deal is… Yes!  You only live once, but HOW will you live? In GOOD health or BAD? and so I was on the Smoking Cigarette lifestyle once more.

Cold Turkey! Without the Cravings!

Prior to this trip to Fiji I’d tried the Patches, Gums , Cold Turkey, never Zyban etc… (I hate these type of drugs in my system), and I always started again, had a lot of stress and anxiety in the first stages, struggled with withdrawals and sleepless nights, sweating, wild mood swings, agitation, couldn’t work out what to do with my hands, and after a weeks work on a Friday afternoon I’d need that hit so bad it would drive me Mad!!!… It always seemed to come in three’s.  The first 3 days were always hell, then three weeks Big Bad Withdrawal Stress would hit me, then again at 3 months the cravings or my weakness would become too much,  at which point I’d give in.

Back to NOW!

I’d been gearing my mind all year to giving up in spring time (I live in the Southern Hemisphere, so this was around October).  I didn’t set an exact date only a strong focus to make it happen in spring, and intended to set a date for a Cleansing Weekend drinking lots of home made fresh vegetable and fruit juices, lots of water, super rich green food supplements, good oils and meals consisting mainly of fresh green vegetables, salads , and fruits during my three day cleanse.

I had invited a friend up from the city to do the cleanse with me.  There were no rigid rules, only the intention to cleanse, have a energizing weekend with deep breathing exercises, good foods etc, and do some meditation too.

Well, the weekend came around and we did a great cleanse.  Just one downfall.  We kept smoking throughout the entire 3 days.

But I just wasn’t getting anywhere near that amazing feeling I had experienced when I’d had a cleanse the year before in Fiji and I wanted so bad to have that unexplainable feeling of optimal health everyday, to wake up excited & energized at each day, not sluggish and exhausted.

A few weeks later I was sitting at home by the big windows at me desk working on my computer and writing, which I love to do.  The view outside is awe inspiring, it was a beautiful, yet very hot day out.  I reached for my packet of Cigarettes and found them empty. “Damn” was my first thought, then out of the blue my next thoughts turned to ANGER !!!

“These stupid things are dictating to me that I have to stop what I’m doing (which I’m really enjoying) get up, go walk into town, spend my money (again), and walk all the way back home, just so that i can have one cigarette, and it’s only going to shorten my life and make me feel like crap.  Then more anger followed… “Why am I giving my power away to these stupid things?”, “Why am I letting these stupid things dictate all my actions?” , “I don’t feel like going anywhere just now!” , I got so angry I decided then and there that I would stop!

I’d done it successfully last year without all the pain!  I can do it again!  I will do it again! I am the decsion maker here, not these stupid chemical filled sticks! I made it a MUST!

So the empty packet went flying into the bin and I got up went outside let out a huge long screaming bellow from deep within, jumped up and down wildly, got myself feeling massively powerful & energized, focused my mind intently on my goal, jumped up & down again a few times till my physiology was supporting my mental focus, AND then strong and stood tall. Letting this feeling of complete POWER & AUTHORITY fill every cell in my mind & body.  I then went straight into a deep breathing routine that I practice.

After this I had a huge drink of water, followed by a double dose of my antioxidant rich drink that I’d been using for the past 2 weeks.  Put on some loud music with a fast groove and danced and jumped around like a fool till I was laughing and exhausted.  I then had another big drink of water. Stood tall again, closed my eyes and focused on breathing slowly & deeply into my lower abdomen for 5 or 10 minutes.

I haven’t had a cigarette since!  I haven’t had any cravings!  I haven’t had any sleepless nights!  I haven’t had wild mood swings!  I just feel absolutely amazing and continue to feel better each and every day.

I repeat this process daily. I don’t always scream and shout out loud, but I do get my self worked up into a peak state and always do my breathing exercises first thing every morning.  As soon as I  wake up I clean my teeth, drink a big glass of water, followed by my antioxidant drink, then I wash my face,  go straight outside and do my Breathing Exercises and then get myself into a peak state and anchor my focus into my physiology.

After getting my mind in the right place and focusing my anger at smoking, which helped massively, I am a  determined non-smoker once more and intend to remain so for the rest of my life!  I have read in the past, and am reading again, Alan Carr’s book “Easy Way to Stop Smoking”, which I recommend anyone who wants to stop smoking must read. I have ingrained the lessons into my psyche. Alan’s book has given me the mental strength.  Its a different approach to removing the psychological dependence and gives an exhilarating new sense of freedom.

The biggest thing (aside from the mental agility) has been supporting my system with Super Green Rich Supplements an awesome antioxidant drink and my breathing exercises.  I feel absolutely amazing. I don’t get cravings at all.  I just get a little light headed sometimes, but it’s no big deal and doesn’t last very long.  If I feel light headed I just drink some water and have a healthy snack like some fruit or fresh made vegetable juice and all’s good again, or I have an extra shot of Anti-Oxidants. The se are the real powers behind my success at quitting smoking without the withdrawal symptoms, stress, and anxiety that I have suffered in the past.

Oh and try eating smaller meals throughout the day every 3 – 4 hours.  Include more fresh water rich foods  (Vegetables & Fruits) into your eating habits to give your body as much nutrients as you can.  Fresh foods will also help your system to get rid of all the toxins built up in your body from smoking.

I’m literally blown away with how easy its been for me this time to break the habit.

Combining this with Daily Deep Breathing Exercises. Which are similar to the deep breaths you take when smoking, and making sure that I’m busy as much as possible.  Yet even when I’m relaxing I feel no urge to smoke cigarettes.  The overall feeling of boosted energy levels is just so powerful and energizing that my whole system feels supported and has the internal power to easily overcome any and all cravings all of it’s own accord.

I’ve also done quite a bit of personal development courses over the past few years with people like Anthony Robbins, Joseph McClendon III, and others.  I have learnt a lot about how to manage my mental, emotional and physical states and how what I focus my thoughts on creates your outcomes and experiences. This has helped in a lot of areas in my life, not just in quitting smoking.  So I encourage you to get your hands on any material that teaches you some of these techniques.  Even applying the lessons in the film “The Secret” just to Quit Smoking will assist you in ways you can’t imagine.

Giving up smoking is really about getting healthy, and supporting your overall health and boosting it to support your ongoing success.

Now, I know my patterns, and am so confident that when the big three’s arrive – 3 days, 3 weeks, and 3 months, and anything that comes my way – that I have the support of a supercharged and healthy system and focused mind to pass through them with the greatest of ease.
